The road I/23 between Třebíč and Vladislaví, currently inadequate for traffic volume, will be widened and improved within two years. The Road and Motorways Directorate (ŘSD), as the investor, has already begun preliminary work. Next year, a five-kilometer section of the road will be completely closed for construction. Drivers should expect continued traffic restrictions around Třebíč, the second largest city in the Vysočina Region, for several years due to the ongoing construction related to the Dukovany nuclear power plant expansion. These improvements aim to address current shortcomings and prepare the infrastructure for increased traffic associated with the Dukovany project. The closures and disruptions are anticipated to be significant but necessary for long-term transportation safety and efficiency.
