Despite the growing number of incidents, conductors largely express job satisfaction. A recent night was spent shadowing a conductor to document the realities of the role. The increase in assaults is a concern for the NS, highlighting a need for improved safety measures. The issue reflects a broader trend of increased antisocial behavior as people travel more freely.
