Riga’s “Rīga Single Ticket” system has been expanded to encompass all five zones (A-E) of the “Vivi” train routes, providing greater convenience for commuters. As of August 26th, passengers can utilize the single ticket across the entire train network. Importantly, the ticket offers seamless integration with Riga’s urban transport network. A 90-minute ticket allows continued travel on “Rīgas satiksme” buses, trams and trolleybuses after disembarking the train. This change aims to simplify journeys and encourage the use of public transport throughout the Riga region. The announcement was made by Vivi on Wednesday, highlighting the increased accessibility for residents and visitors alike. This initiative streamlines public transportation for travelers in and around Riga.
