A dispute over a food bill and quality at ‘Bangla Tiffin’ restaurant in Rajshahi’s Binodpur market escalated into a violent clash Friday night. The incident involved vandalism and reciprocal chases between groups. A police constable, Foyez Uddin, stationed at Kajla police outpost, was injured when a cocktail exploded during the altercation. He sustained a serious injury to his left leg. The conflict reportedly began with an argument regarding the restaurant bill and the food served. Authorities are investigating the cause and those responsible for the violence and explosion. The injured officer is receiving medical treatment.
