Rays of Hope Hospice Jinja (RHHJ) in Jinja, Uganda is initiating a large-scale prostate cancer screening drive aimed at reaching 45,000 men. The campaign will focus on the Busoga sub-region and surrounding districts, increasing access to early detection services. This initiative comes in response to a rising number of men seeking treatment for prostate cancer at the hospice. RHHJ hopes to improve outcomes through earlier diagnoses and intervention. The screening drive represents a significant effort to address the growing health concern within the region. Further details about the campaign’s implementation are expected to be released soon by The Independent Uganda.
