Unique fluorite caves, hidden within the sandstone cliffs below the Děčínský Sněžník lookout in the Czech Republic, will be open to visitors this year. These caves, previously inaccessible due to past mining activity and protective measures, are notable for their striking fluorite formations. The caves are located within fissures and cracks in the 723-meter-high rock formation. While the lookout point is well-known, few are aware of the geological wonders beneath. Access was previously limited, but an exceptional opening allows public viewing. The caves represent a rare opportunity to observe these naturally occurring, luminous mineral displays. This year’s opening follows a successful visit period last year.
