The controversial Villa Certosa in Sardinia, formerly owned by the late Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, has been sold for €350 million. The buyer is Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, the former Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. The villa gained notoriety as the location of Berlusconi’s infamous “bunga bunga” parties. Italian newspaper *La Repubblica* reported the sale. Berlusconi died in 2023, leaving behind the estate which became a focal point of scandal during his political career.
