For the third year running, the schedules of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the Indian Premier League (IPL) are set to overlap, creating a potential conflict for players and viewership. The 12th edition of the PSL will be held from March 18th to May 2nd, 2027. This scheduling clash mirrors previous years, continuing a trend of difficulty in coordinating the calendars of these two major Twenty20 cricket tournaments. The overlapping dates pose logistical challenges for players who may be contracted to participate in both leagues. Organizers have yet to announce plans for resolution; however, issues related to player availability and broadcasting rights are anticipated. The possibility of altered schedules remains, but currently, the PSL is slated to proceed as planned during the IPL season.
