The families of Nana Kwei Aminsah Nsona of Bakaano, Cape Coast, and several other prominent families including those of Moree and Ada, have announced the death of Lawrence Kobena Nsarko Otoo, Esq. The announcement was made by Ebusuapanyin K. E. Aggrey-Carthy and a collective of elders from the various families. Notable family representatives include Numo Reuben ofoli Amegatcher, head of the Amegatcher/Amegavie Families of Ada and abroad, and members of the King Otoo, Martinson and Gyampoh Families. Mr. Otoo, a lawyer, is survived by numerous relatives across Ada, Anlo, Akropong Akuapem, Cape Coast, and Moree. The news has been received with sadness by the extended families and associates. Further details regarding funeral arrangements have not yet been released.
