Professor David Pettigrew has issued an urgent appeal to protect the rights to memorialize victims of the persecution of Bosniak civilians in Kalinovik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, marking the 34th anniversary of the events. Pettigrew stood in solidarity with survivors, family members, and organizations like Istina Kalinovik 92 during the commemoration. His appeal focuses on preventing historical revisionism and ensuring the remembrance of all victims, including those whose remains remain unidentified – specifically mentioning Doctor Abdurahman Filipović, Avdija Škoro, and Salko Vranović.
