Prince George, age 12, will attend Eton College this autumn, Buckingham Palace has confirmed. He will be the first senior royal to attend the prestigious school since his father, Prince William, was a student there in 1995. Prince William and Kate reportedly considered several schools before selecting Eton, which is conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from Windsor Castle. The elite institution carries an annual tuition fee of around £63,000, equivalent to over 800,000 Norwegian kroner. Eton College has a notable history, having educated 20 British Prime Ministers, including David Cameron and Boris Johnson. The decision marks a significant milestone in the young prince’s education and continues a tradition of royal attendance at the renowned school.
