Prime Minister Tareq Rahman departed Dhaka Saturday morning en route to Cox's Bazar for a one-day visit. His flight left Shahjalal International Airport at 9:10 AM local time, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Jubaida Rahman. According to the Prime Minister’s Press Wing, the visit is part of a pre-scheduled program. Upon arrival in Cox's Bazar, the Prime Minister is expected to travel by road to the PM Khali area of Chakaria. A key activity planned is the re-excavation of the Patli Canal.
