Prague’s Na Zábradlí Theatre is concluding its season with a documentary-style play titled “The End of Spring.” The production focuses on the events leading up to the Soviet-led invasion of Czechoslovakia in August 1968, and its immediate aftermath. The play revisits discussions and political maneuvering that occurred before the invasion. It aims to portray the atmosphere and key figures involved during this pivotal moment in Czech history. Notably, the play features representations of both Leonid Brezhnev and Alexander Dubček, key leaders from the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia respectively.
