A section of Prague’s ring road will be closed from Saturday at 7 PM to Sunday at 11 AM due to the demolition of two overpasses. The closure affects the stretch between Slivenec and Řeporyje. The demolition, managed by the Road and Motorways Directorate, is necessary to facilitate the construction of new bridges. These replacements will allow for the expansion of the ring road from four to six lanes. The existing overpasses were structurally unsuitable for this expansion. Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes during the closure.
