A nine-year-old girl was seriously injured in a traffic collision in Prague’s Kunratice district this afternoon. Police and emergency services responded to the scene after the girl was struck by a car. The driver, who did not have a valid driver’s license, was reportedly under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident. Although a helicopter was dispatched, the girl was transported to the hospital by ambulance due to the nature of her injuries. Traffic flow in the area was temporarily restricted following the accident. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and the driver is in police custody.
