Prague city councilors have voted to remove Ondřej Prokop (ANO) from his position as chairman of the supervisory committee following a controversy regarding undeclared properties. Jan Hušbauer, also from the ANO movement, was subsequently elected as his replacement. The vote received support from all political clubs except for ANO and SPD. Prokop was absent from the meeting where the decision was made. Deputy Mayor Jaromír Beránek (Pirates) intends to propose Prokop’s removal from the supervisory board of the city’s transport company. Members of the ANO party defended Prokop during the proceedings. The move follows scrutiny of Prokop’s personal property declarations.
