A recent SW Research survey commissioned by McDonald’s Poland reveals that 74% of Polish travelers opt for well-known restaurants and brands while on the road, with only 15% seeking new culinary experiences. The study highlights that nearly 70% of respondents prioritize quality and safety when choosing where to eat during their journeys, placing even greater emphasis on these factors than usual. This suggests a preference for predictability and reliability when away from home. However, the Polish Chamber of Commerce argues that current signage on highways and expressways fails to provide drivers with adequate information about available services. The organization is advocating for improvements to the existing road signage system to better inform travelers about roadside amenities. These findings indicate a need for both consistent quality from existing providers and improved accessibility of information for those on the road.
