Polish firefighters have carried out over 1,600 interventions since Sunday to address the aftermath of severe storms and heavy rainfall. According to the State Fire Service, the highest concentration of emergencies occurred near Poznań, with over 300 calls. Significant activity was also recorded in Szczecin, Kraków, Wrocław, Gdańsk, and Torunia, where responders were deployed more than 100 times each. The storms caused notable structural damage across various regions. In the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, a fallen tree damaged a school roof. Additionally, high winds in Ełk, within the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, tore away part of a residential building's roof. Authorities continue to monitor the situation as weather patterns shift.
