Construction workers in the village of Lutoryż, eastern Poland, discovered the remains of at least 29 unborn children while excavating an access road. The discovery occurred during the work on a driveway for a new family home. Following the find, a 57-year-old pathologist has been detained by authorities. The pathologist had sold the property to a young couple several months prior. In addition to the human remains, investigators found medical waste on the site. This waste included paraffin blocks used for tissue preservation and microscopic slides. The case is currently under investigation to determine the legality and origin of the remains.
