Poland’s Minister of Interior and Administration, Marcin Kierwiński, has pledged improvements to the country’s alert system following recent disruptions. The announcement came after confusion surrounding emergency warnings issued in the Lubelszczyzna region on Sunday. Minister Kierwiński stated on Radio Zet that the government is addressing the issues and working towards a fully functional system. He assured the public that all preparations and system launch will be completed by the end of the year. The promise comes as a response to criticism regarding the effectiveness of the current emergency notification procedures. The improvements aim to ensure reliable and timely alerts to citizens in crisis situations. The politician, representing the Civic Coalition (KO), emphasized the commitment to enhancing public safety through a better alert system.
