Poland’s fire service responded to nearly 900 storm-related incidents across the country on Saturday. The majority of these calls, almost half, originated from the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Firefighters dealt with localized threats caused by the severe weather, including flooding and fallen trees. The highest number of new emergency calls overnight, from Saturday into Sunday, came from the Greater Poland Voivodeship. Authorities have not yet reported any casualties, but are assessing the extent of the damage. The fire service continues to monitor the situation and respond to ongoing needs as the storm system moves across the region.
