Poland is increasing the number of military-focused secondary schools, citing security concerns as a key driver. The Ministry of Defence plans to establish over 600 classes with a focus on national defense in the upcoming school year. Students attending these specialized schools will primarily wear civilian clothes, dedicating Tuesdays and Thursdays to intensive military training. This training encompasses tactical exercises, discipline, and skill development. The curriculum at these schools, such as four-year lyceums, combines military preparation with standard academic subjects and specialized training, like future healthcare professionals. The initiative represents a significant investment in youth military education within the country.
