Nearly 200 teams participated in the 16th annual Sir Anthony Siaguru Walk Against Corruption in Papua New Guinea. The event brought together representatives from businesses, government, schools, and civil society groups. Participants collectively raised K208,000 (approximately $57,000 USD) to support Transparency International PNG’s (TIPNG) anti-corruption initiatives. These funds will be used to directly finance TIPNG’s ongoing operations and programs aimed at tackling corruption within the country. The walk demonstrates a broad-based commitment to fighting corruption across various sectors of PNG society. Access to the full report requires a subscription to the Post Courier.
