A partnership between the Centre for Excellence in Financial Inclusion (CEFI), the Department for Community Development and Religion (DFCDR), and Women’s Micro Bank (WMB) aims to broaden financial inclusion throughout Papua New Guinea. The collaboration was formalized through the signing of two Memoranda of Agreement (MoA). This initiative seeks to empower citizens economically by increasing access to financial services. Details of the agreements were published by Post Courier, however access requires a subscription. The partnership underscores a joint commitment to fostering financial accessibility across the nation. It aims to deliver benefits to a wider population, particularly through the work of Women’s Micro Bank. Further information is behind a paywall.
