A national study assessing the cost of health services has been extended to Milne Bay Province in Papua New Guinea. The initiative, led by the National Economic and Fiscal Commission (NEFC) and partner agencies, aims to improve health financing mechanisms across the country. This expansion marks a significant step in understanding the financial needs of Provincial Health Authorities (PHAs). The ultimate goal is to bolster service delivery and ensure more effective resource allocation within PNG’s healthcare system. The study will provide critical data for policymakers.
