Papua New Guinea’s National Information and Communications Technology Authority (NICTA) has established a Special Procurement Committee (SPC). The committee’s formation was formalized today with a swearing-in ceremony. NICTA aims to enhance efficiency, accountability, and speed in the implementation of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Universal Access Service (UAS) projects nationwide. The SPC will oversee the procurement processes for these critical infrastructure developments. This move is intended to improve the delivery of essential technology services across Papua New Guinea.
