The Republic Square in Plzeň, Czech Republic is currently undergoing extensive revitalization work that began in April. The construction site is visibly active with workers, equipment, and prepared areas for new trees. The project focuses on transforming the area from the city gallery, past the bishopric, to the puppet museum into a pedestrian boulevard. Work is progressing rapidly, with crews operating at full capacity. City officials anticipate the reconstruction will be completed by the end of the summer. This is reportedly the most extensive work ever undertaken on the square. The revitalization aims to create a more pedestrian-friendly public space in the city center.
