Playwright Arne Lygre was awarded the honorary prize during Sunday's Heddapris ceremony. Upon receiving the award on stage, Lygre expressed that he was speechless. The Heddaprisen awards are presented by the Norwegian Association of Theater and Orchestra across 13 categories of performing arts. This year's ceremony took place on the main stage of the National Theatre. Among the other winners, Petronella Barker received the award for best actress for her performance in "Sykdom og sosial nød." The production itself also won the award for best theater performance. The event highlights the top achievements in Norwegian scenics.
