Phoenix Insurance has donated ten computers and accompanying accessories to the Surgery Department at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. The company framed the donation as the beginning of a sustained partnership aimed at improving healthcare provision at the facility. Hospital officials stated the equipment will significantly aid in clinical operations, medical research, teaching initiatives, and the implementation of digital record-keeping systems. This contribution supports Korle Bu’s ongoing efforts to modernize and integrate technology into its healthcare services. Phoenix Insurance representatives encouraged increased support for Ghana’s healthcare sector during the handover ceremony. The donation is intended to address existing technological gaps within the department and improve overall efficiency. Further collaborations between Phoenix Insurance and the hospital are anticipated.
