A group of 13 women, including Tammy Ballantyne Webber, recently completed a challenging two-week trek through Peru’s Cordillera Huayhuash mountain range. The journey followed months of dedicated physical preparation for the group. Participants faced difficult conditions including frigid overnight temperatures and crossing glacial rivers, but were rewarded with breathtaking scenery. Beyond the physical challenges, the trek fostered a strong sense of camaraderie and shared accomplishment. Webber highlighted the joy derived from overcoming obstacles alongside her fellow adventurers. The expedition represents a test of endurance and a celebration of women’s strength in the outdoors.
