Nearly 10,000 police officers across three Peruvian regions – Huánuco, San Martín, and Ucayali – are facing a critical food shortage as 68 police stations have exhausted their food budgets. This alarming situation was brought to the attention of the General Commander Óscar Arriola in mid-August.
