Over 4,000 residents in the Papua New Guinean villages of Wakupma and Wingei 1, located in the Yangoru-Saussia District, will benefit from improved access to clean and safe drinking water. The initiative was facilitated by the District Development Authority (DDA) through its Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WaSH) program. A total of 416 water tanks have been distributed to the communities. The project is being spearheaded by local Member of Parliament Richard Maru.
