Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will attend the fourth meeting of the R-4 group – comprising Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan – in Cairo on June 21st. The meeting, hosted by Egypt, aims to address regional developments and foster collaboration on peace, security, and stability. Discussions will build upon previous R-4 meetings, focusing on strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest. During the visit, Dar is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his Egyptian counterpart and meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, focusing on deepening Pakistan-Egypt relations. The Foreign Office stated Pakistan values its ties with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye, emphasizing the R-4 framework’s commitment to regional peace. This follows a similar quadrilateral meeting hosted by Dar in Islamabad in March concerning the Middle East crisis.
