The Pakistan Navy successfully rescued 19 crew members—11 Pakistani and 8 Iranian nationals—from a fishing vessel, Al Jalali, stranded 120 nautical miles south of Gwadar. The vessel became disabled due to engine failure and faced worsening weather conditions during the monsoon season, putting the crew at immediate risk. Following a distress call, the Navy swiftly launched a search and rescue operation with PNS Taimur, providing the crew with essential supplies like food, water, and medical attention. This rescue follows a similar successful operation earlier this month where 20 crew members were saved from a sinking cargo dhow.
