A Pakistan Army team from the Pakistan Military Academy secured first place at the International Pace Sticking Competition 2026, held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom. The nine-member contingent, led by Major Haider Gulzar, competed against teams from 16 nations. The team achieved a “clean sweep,” winning the Overall Team Trophy, the Best Pace Sticker award, and the Best Driver award. This victory highlights the high level of training and dedication within the Pakistani Armed Forces, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Pakistan previously won the competition in 2020, achieving a three-year winning streak at that time. The nation first participated in the event in 2018 and has consistently demonstrated strong performance, including recent gold medal wins at Exercise Cambrian Patrol in Wales during 2024, 2025, 2017, 2016 and 2015.
