Prague experienced a series of overnight thunderstorms beginning after midnight, impacting the southern areas of the city. The storms brought intense, localized rainfall, with some stations recording over 50 millimeters of precipitation. The sudden downpours caused significant accumulation of water in a short period. This resulted in localized flooding in certain parts of the capital. The storms moved across the city for several hours, one after another, delivering a substantial amount of rainfall. Authorities have not yet reported any major damages or injuries, but are monitoring the situation closely.
