More than 110,000 Bulgarian students in seventh and tenth grade are taking national standardized mathematics exams today. Testing began at 8:00 AM for tenth graders and 9:00 AM for seventh graders. Students were required to arrive at their respective schools 30 minutes prior to the exam start time with appropriate identification. These national external assessments are a key component of the Bulgarian education system, evaluating student performance at these critical junctures. The exams are designed to assess students’ understanding of core mathematical concepts learned throughout the school year. Results will be used to evaluate school performance and inform future educational strategies. Authorities are overseeing the exams to ensure fairness and security.
