Oslo’s annual Pride parade on Saturday will cause significant disruptions to both public transportation and vehicle traffic in the city center. All tram lines and several bus routes (30, 31, 34, 37, 54, 60, 70, 74, and 81) will be rerouted between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Public transport operator Ruter advises commuters to utilize the subway system, which will remain unaffected. Motorists should expect the closure of E18 in both directions between Haakon VIIs gate and Dronning Mauds gate, with traffic being diverted to Ring 1 or Ring 2. Ruter spokesperson Bjørnar Skogheim recommends allowing extra travel time, frequently checking the journey planner, and pre-planning return trips. The changes are in effect to accommodate the parade route and ensure public safety.
