Oslo University Hospital (OUS) is experiencing login problems with its electronic health record system, according to reports. While the system isn’t entirely down, users who are not already logged in are facing difficulties accessing it. Hospital officials confirm the issue but state it doesn’t currently require emergency measures. The problems extend beyond OUS, impacting all hospitals within the Helse Sør-Øst region. This isn't an isolated incident; the Dips system, used across multiple Norwegian health regions including Helse Nord and Helse Vest, has experienced weekly issues based on a review of error messages from last year. Recurring problems with the Dips system are raising concerns about reliability and potential disruption to patient care. Officials are working to resolve the current login challenges.
