Serbia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivica Dačić, announced the arrest of one individual following a police operation in Belgrade. Officers from the Palilula Police Station’s Criminal Suppression Department, in collaboration with the Security Service, conducted the operation. Approximately nine kilograms of various narcotics were seized, including rose cocaine, MDMA, and marijuana. The operation indicates ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking within Serbia. Further investigations are underway to determine the source and distribution network of the seized drugs. Dačić highlighted the success of the collaborative effort between different law enforcement agencies. The suspect is currently in custody and faces criminal charges related to drug possession and trafficking.
