Over 600 residents of Onihale in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State benefited from free medical screenings and food supplies provided by Africa Needs U. Health workers conducting the two-day community outreach identified risk factors for hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease amongst participants. The screenings aimed to proactively address potential health concerns within the community. Findings revealed a prevalence of risk factors associated with these chronic illnesses. The initiative, organised by Africa Needs U, sought to improve healthcare access for the residents of Ogun State. This outreach demonstrates a commitment to preventative healthcare within the Onihale community and beyond.
