The Perindo Party in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Indonesia, is collaborating with the NTT branch of the Protestant Church in Flores (GMIT) to enhance the competitiveness of local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The partnership aims to improve product quality by encouraging adherence to Indonesian National Standards (SNI). Currently, NTT’s MSMEs possess significant potential but are hindered by limited market access and a lack of competitive edge. By adopting SNI standards, businesses hope to increase their value proposition and economic contribution to the region. The initiative seeks to “level up” these enterprises, enabling them to compete more effectively in wider markets. This collaboration represents a focused effort to unlock the economic potential of NTT’s small business sector through quality control and market expansion. The move is expected to benefit both the businesses and the local economy.
