A man in his 30s has been formally charged with the rape of four different cohabitating partners over a twelve-year period, between 2012 and 2024. The alleged assaults occurred within the women’s homes in the Sør-Rogaland region of Norway. In addition to the rape charges, the man is also accused of abuse against one of the women. Prosecutors, led by Thale Thomseth, have brought the charges following a thorough investigation. The victims’ legal counsel, Dagny Reilstad and Berit Johannessen, have stated their clients feel relieved that the case is moving forward. The defendant’s lawyer, Ørjan Eskeland, has declined to comment at this time. A twelve-day trial has been scheduled in the Sør-Rogaland district court.
