Negotiations between the Norwegian Union of Professional Drivers and the United Federation of Trade Unions, and NHO Service regarding the Wholesale Agreement (Grossistavtalen) have collapsed. Both unions announced the breakdown in talks via press release. The dispute centers around the terms of the wholesale agreement, impacting numerous businesses. As a result, the matter will now be escalated to the National Mediator (Riksmekleren) for further intervention. This mediation process aims to prevent potential labor disruptions. The outcome of the mediation will determine whether further action, such as a strike, will be considered. The parties involved have not yet disclosed specific details regarding the points of contention that led to the negotiation failure.
