North Chungcheong Province’s Institute of Public Health and Environmental Research has announced that recent testing of delivery food and prepared meals from 31 restaurants across the province showed no presence of foodborne illness-causing bacteria. The tests were conducted between May and August, focusing on items commonly ordered for delivery. Researchers examined samples of both the food itself and the products utilized in preparation. This inspection aimed to proactively safeguard public health, especially during the warmer months when food poisoning risks increase. The results confirm that all tested samples met safety standards and pose no immediate threat to consumers. Authorities plan to continue regular monitoring to ensure ongoing food safety within the region’s delivery and restaurant industries. This outcome provides reassurance for residents who frequently utilize food delivery services.
