The administration of the “Stevan Sremac” First Niš Gymnasium has announced that students who passed the entrance exam for a now-disbanded gifted student class will be allowed to apply for placement in other classes within the school. The original specialized class was reportedly closed due to insufficient enrollment. This decision aims to accommodate students who successfully completed the competitive entrance examination. Students will now have the opportunity to continue their education at the gymnasium despite the cancellation of their initially intended program. The school administration stated this provides a solution for those who demonstrated academic aptitude. Further details regarding the application process for reassignment will be communicated to the affected students. This move seeks to ensure qualified students are not excluded from attending the school.
