A combined heat and power plant with a capacity of 60 MW of electricity and 70 Gcal of heat will be constructed within the Nalaikh Industrial and Technology Park in Mongolia. A memorandum of understanding was signed today with CVCK LLC, a Chinese-invested company operating in Mongolia, to collaborate on the project. The plant aims to reliably meet the growing energy demands of businesses and factories located in the park. The Nalaikh Industrial and Technology Park, spanning 310 hectares, provides infrastructure and management support for building material and light manufacturing industries. The project was presented to domestic and international investors during the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification. This power plant is intended to ensure a stable energy supply for the developing industrial area.
