A new bridge, dubbed the “Libeň bypass,” is planned to resolve traffic congestion caused by train priority crossings in Prague’s Libeň district. Currently, trains on two busy routes must yield to each other, causing delays. The new infrastructure will facilitate smoother train flow as part of a broader modernization project for the railway between Libeň and Malešice. Public input is being sought regarding the bridge’s final design. Residents will have the opportunity to vote on the preferred aesthetic for the structure. The project aims to significantly improve transportation efficiency in the area. Construction is slated to begin following the design selection process.
