A new book, “Political Economy of Institutionalising Monitoring & Evaluation Practice in Africa: 21st Century Perspectives,” was launched at the World Bank Country Office in Accra on June 10, 2026. The book, authored by Professor Kwaku Appiah-Adu and Mr. Andrew Osei Asibey, focuses on the political and economic factors influencing the implementation of monitoring and evaluation practices in Africa. The launch event brought together policymakers, development professionals, academics, and government officials. It is anticipated the publication will significantly contribute to ongoing conversations surrounding governance, accountability, and public policy.
