Following devastating floods, over 100 tons of relief supplies and equipment have been delivered by the international community to Nepal. However, the delivery of this crucial assistance to those affected is proving difficult. Critical infrastructure, including bridges, has been washed away and roads severely damaged, hindering access to impacted regions. The situation is compounded by a lack of sufficient helicopters to efficiently distribute aid. This logistical challenge is delaying desperately needed support reaching communities isolated by the disaster. Efforts are underway to overcome these obstacles and expedite the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need. The scale of the damage presents a significant hurdle in the ongoing relief operations.
